We specialize in the clinical application of pharmacogenetic testing, to ensure individualized treatment plans and medication selection based on a person’s genetics. Computer based objective testing of cognition is available at APS as well, which can help with diagnostic clarification and tracking response to treatment for conditions such as ADHD.

Dr. Nazeer was the first psychiatrist in the state of Illinois to offer IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy for the treatment of psychiatric conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.  APS was one of the first two ketamine clinics in the Midwest, and has experience with several hundred completed infusions. What makes our ketamine services unique? Simple, APS is the only one in this region that offers full psychiatric care or consultation along with the infusions.  The division of APS that provides this specific treatment is called Advanced Ketamine Care.
